Question

Would it be possible to use "Office 365" in ASP.NET C# web application. I have been searching document SDK which has the following features.
View the documents online (word, Excel and PPT)
Edit the office documents (word, Excel and PPT) online in the browser
Documents are stored on our server repository. We are looking for an API/SDK which would allow us to edit the documents and save the data back to document.
Your are help is very much appreciated.
Thanks & Regards
Sandeep K

Hi,
To view and edit the Office documents online in your web application, I think using Web Application Open Platform Interface (WOPI) host is a good way to help you, but it is a little complex.
A WOPI host is document storage location that can connect to Office Web Apps Server to open Office documents in the browser. When the WOPI host is configured to use Office Web Apps Server, users are able to view and edit documents stored on the WOPI host by using Office Web Apps.
The latest version of OWA in an on-premises deployment decouples the dependency on SharePoint. For those organizations that perhaps have invested somewhat in non-SharePoint content or document management systems, this offers an opportunity to provide the OWA experience with content from your site.
More details about the WOPI, please refer to Introducing WOPI.
Here is a sample WOPI Host that provides viewing, and editing through Office Web Apps via a custom WOPI Server for your reference: Building an Office Web Apps (OWA) WOPI Host.

Hello Sandeep,
The current forum is for Microsoft Office, not online.
I'd recommend asking Office 365 related questions in the SharePoint 2013 - General Discussions and Questions forum instead. There you will get the most qualified feedback.
