Hi All,
I am having a list view web part in a page,in that web part i am having 3rd party links like google.com,gmail.com etc..
If the user clicks on that particular link,we need to track the how many times he clicked that particular link.
we have to show
Name of the user.
How many times he clicked the particular link.(count we have to show)
Link name.
Last Clicked Date with time.
I am using SharePoint 2013,Is there any out of box feature available in SP2013 or Is there any 3rd party tools available for this requirement.
I already checked the Audit Logs,i am unable to track the 3rd party url's.
Please let me know if any one knows. Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Phani Kumar Raavi

Hi,
There is no out of box method to achieve it in SharePoint. Alternatively, you may achieve this with the help of third party web part.
As I know the 3rd party solution Click Counter and Google Analytics connectting to SharePoint can get the track Visitors name and number of time clicked on particular link.
However, as we don’t know regarding the 3rd party product knowledge, please elaborate the impact that you need to know regarding this based on SharePoint side.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to track Visitors name and number of time clicked on particular link.
As for external link access, you will need to pull that information from your firewall\proxy logs as that information would not be in either the SharePoint logs nor in the IIS logs.
If tracking and reporting at this level of detail is a persistent need, Click Counter and Google Analytics seem to be solutions.
