Question

Hey we got the 32 bit Version of 2016 ProPlus installed, and the 32bit Version of Access Runtime 2013 (was pre 2016 installed) and Office 2007 (32bit)(was also pre 2016 installed) so all 32 bit.!! Now i want to upgrade to Access Runtime 2016 (32bit) but when i start the Installation i got the error: Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component 64-bit is preventing this.

What is this? Where can i deinstall this? I cant find it under Software...

Hi,

Maybe you can try to uninstall Office 365 ProPlus, install Access Runtime 2016, then install Office 365 ProPlus back.

If you want to uninstall Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component 64-bit Registration, we can do the following steps:

  1. Open File Explorer, go to C:\Windows\Installer.
  2. In the view, add Subject column: Right-click Name column, select More, in Choose Details window, select Subject, click OK.
  3. Check the Subject column, find the file for Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component 64-bit Registration.
  4. Right-click to Uninstall.
