Windows 10 Printer Setup Problems - Brother MFC-7360N

Hi,

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  Everything went quite well, except for setting up my Brother MFC-7360N printer.  This is locally attached to my PC via a USB-Port which is whether list nor recognized in the Windows 10 Setting-Up facilities.  I have uninstalled all printer drivers supplied by Brother Inc. - as suggested in their webpages - and let Windows 10 automatically recognize the printer: to no avail.  Also, USB ports - and I have several built-in - are not recognized as Printer Virtual Ports.  All other devices attached to USB ports (Keyboard, mouse, camera, etc.) have been seemlessly recognized and installed.

I would highly appreciate some help on this quite disturbing matter.

what happens when you install the latest driver for Windows 10?

0.can you enter winver in command prompt on win10 computer and look the os version and os version number ?[for example windows 10  enterprise 1809 (os build 17763.316)]

did you mean in-place upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 ?

1.did below method can detect your mfc7360 printer on issue win10 ? (it means not use Microsoft auto update printer driver . 
(1)we can clean up the old driver of MFC 7360n
(2) unplug the usb cable of mfc7360 and disable network adapters ,reboot the issue win10
(3) download the latest mfc 7360 printer driver and unzip it to c:\7360n ,reinstall the latest driver on issue win10 like picture.
(4) insert usb cable of mfc7360 printer and use the installed latest driver to install mfc7360 printer

do you mean you the printer usb port can not be recognized in device manager ?
if you change the printer usb cable and computer usb port ,will the problem persist ?

3.if the problem persist ,can your printer connect to local network and issue win10 by using tcp/ip method to add this printer ?
