Question

I'm using Visual Studio 2010 with latest update version 10.0.40219.1 SP1, I created simple VB form and tried to create a release build by clicking Build and Rebuild command but ...\bin\Release folder remains empty, any reason for that or this is a bug?

Hi Mujaqo,

Welcome to the MSDN forum.

Please change the Solution Configuration to Release mode first. To do so: Dropdown the Solution Configuration list>>Select “Release”>>Start Debugging(F5). Then open the folder to check if the corresponding files are generated.

If you have any other concerns, please feel free to let me know.
