Question

Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition does not allow me to sign in. I get this:
"Sorry, we ran into a problem. The online service is not available. Please try again later".
I am running VS as Administrator, and I've removed the firewall.
What's the deal?
It also prompts me for a license that has apparently "expired" (but I just installed this morning).
Any insight much appreciated.

Hi 3rdValve,
Please check your IE version on your machine to make sure it is IE 11. If not, please upgrade to IE 11 and try again.
Then please try open following links in IE browser directly. If they can be opened through IE 11, the problem may be related to your Visual Studio itself. Please try repair your Visual Studio to check whether this problem can be fixed.
https://www.visualstudio.com/
https://login.microsoftonline.com/
https://login.live.com/
If they can't be opened in IE 11 directly, the problem is related to your IE settings. Please add trust for these links to IE trusted sites and then try again.
Best Regards,
Weiwei
