Question

I realize there are 3 other threads regarding this problem, but none of the answers have worked. I've tried the "Outlook.exe /cleanviews" and I have made sure that the Month view is set to High Detail. The problem persists that when the user opens the calendar (defaulted to Month view, high detail) only the recurring appointments are displayed. The non-recurring appointments will show up after the user switches to week, day, or schedule view and then back to month view.

Are they using account with Exchange online mode or cache mode?
Does the calendar item store in OST file, PST file or mailbox database (online mode)? If you are using cache mode, please try to rename the old OST file or create a new PST, and then create a new non-recurring calendar item to check the result.
Please let me know the result when you launch Outlook with safe mode.
By the way, you've not detailed the Outlook version and Exchange version. Feel free to post back. Thanks.

I am having the same problem. And I agree, I have seen similar threads and none of the answers have worked.
Non-recurring appointments do not show up in Outlook until calendar view is changed. Just by chance I clicked on another view (day, week, month), and then all appointments showed up. No matter what view I choose, only the recurring appointments are printed.
Also, I read about a similar problem, and it mentioned disabling add-ins, but when I went to the link supplied, I did not see the info about which add-ins, and how to delete them.
I am not using Exchange. This is a stand-alone pc. This started about one month ago.

User has an event that shows properly in OWA calendar and phone calendar, but his OL2013 calendar does not show it while in Schedule View (swim lanes). OL connected to Exchange 2013Update12 on Win2012R2.
However, once the view changes to Day, Week or Month, the event appears correctly.
When the view changes back to Schedule View the one event disappears again when all other events still show.
It is only happening for one event, an invitation, and all invitees can view the event fine in their calendars regardless of view.

I am getting the opposite - I have 4 events that show in Schedule view but 3 disappear when in day view. (same thing happens when i view a colleagues calendar with the same events).

I have discovered that all the vents in work calendar appear as soon as turn off my personal calendar (on a different office 365 account).
this also applies to a view I have of a colleague's office365 calendar - some vents (but not all0 disappear when I open my personal calendar
My personal calendar has no events that day . It is the default mail account according to outlook.
If I don't overlay, calendars show correctly.

we have shared calandars in a public folder.
I normaly copy them to my own calendar (so I can see them on my mobile phone, not user friendly but this is what the company wants...)
I noticed that the public folder calendar was empty for tomorrow. (Should not be possible) after disabling my personal calendar the events start appearing again. (also using side by side is working fine)
@ IanCHC when did your issue started?
For me I noticed it the second week of january

About the same - it's a new problem in the last week or so.

Same problem here, started a little more than a month ago.

Same problem that appears to have begun with Outlook 2016 version 1712. I have one customer who uses one person's personal calendar (all Exchange-based mailbox in the same domain and Exchange) as a shared calendar. When they enter an appointment, it is there when the shared calendar is searched and when viewed in Schedule view but not there when in Day, Week, or Month view. Have not tried disabling personal calendar since this is the first time I have looked at this thread.

I have the same problem - the appointment is there in Schedule View but not in the Day, Week or Month view. Is there any solution to this?

Go to the view where the appt. shows up (week or day view) right click on the appt. and select "show as free" I did this and the appt showed up on the month view.
