one or more errors occurred. (mscorlib)->
one or more errors occurred. (mscorlib)->
WSTrust response does not have recognized SAML assertion. (System.Data)
This has been working previously. I changed my password this morning and waited before attempting to login. Now i'm getting this error through Sql server management studio(18.1 and 18.2). I created a new user and that user/pass is allowing connections.
I have one other user who is having the same error. They have not changed their password recently.
Thanks

Since you mention that this issue is with multiple users, could you please check with your Active directory administrator if they switched from ADFS (WS-FED) to F5 (SAML) ?
You should still be able to to Azure SQL via SSMS using the "Active Directory – Universal with MFA Support" Authentication option.
Please let us know if that doesn't work for you.

Thank you for the reply. I have not attempted to log in by mfa before.
On login it would not accept my new password.
I decided to try the old password and it was accepted. Then prompting me to change my password again.
After a password change it is allowing me to log in.
We haven't made any changes to AD in the last 2 months.
I also just tried to connect via AD - Password and it is now working with the new password change.
I'll ask the other effected user to try the Universal and see if this resolves the issue.
Thanks.
