Disk & Ven_ Generic & Prod_ SD/MMC/MS

I would like to know on what the USB that I have typed into this question and what is it for and also why is it trying to connect to my windows 10 64 bit through the connections? The USB is Disk & Ven _Generic & Prod- SD/MMC/ MS? I do not know where this had came from and or why it is trying to connect to my windows desktop? If someone can give me some information on this I would greatly appreciate it.

you have an SD-card reader either connected via USB, or build into your computer.

It seems like a build in card reader on your machine does not have a specific driver installed.

Check Device Manger and update driver software for your card reader and USB.
