Hi,
We enabled 'Allow Trusted Locations on my network (net recommended)' via Group Policy. However users are unable to Add new location. The Add new location button is greyed out.
Can you please provide info on which Office 2013 policy that should be Enabled/Disabled to allow users to be able to click the "Add new Location" button from Word 2013, Excel 2013, PowerPoint 2013?
Thank you
Best Regards,

Hi,
Based on my testing, the "Add new Location", "Remove", "Modify" buttons will be grayed out when you use Group Policy to enable "Disable all Trusted Locations". However, from the screenshot you attached, seems the option is not configured in your environment.
In addition, the three buttons will also be disabled if you have the "Allow mix of policy and user locations" policy enabled under:
User Configuration\Microsoft Office 2013\Security Settings\Trust Center
Please check if you have above GPO setting set to Disabled. If this is the case, try changing the GPO setting to Not Configured or Enabled and then check if this issue continues.

Hi Steve,
In regarding to adding Trusted Locations, does it recognized drive letter?
Such as: to trust all network shared that mapped using F drive?
[\F:\](file://\F:)*
Thank you

Hi,
As far as I know, we cannot add the mapped network drive letter directly. Instead, we need to put in the full UNC to the drive/folder being mapped.
