Looking for some registry keys about VPN and Windows Update

Question

Hi world.

I'm looking for some registry keys about VPNs.
I would like to find registry keys 'allow vpn over metered networks' and 'allow vpn while roaming'

Also, I'm looking for a registry key about advanced Windows Update options 'give me updates for other microsoft products when i update windows'.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU\AllowMUUpdateService
This registry seems pro version works well, but home version doesn't work.

Group policy is also good.

Please help me find them.
Thank you.
Regards
Chris

Hello,

Registry reference:

Allow VPN over metered networks:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RasMan\Parameters\Config\VpnCostedNetworkSettings\NoCostedNetwork

Allow VPN while roaming:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RasMan\Parameters\Config\VpnCostedNetworkSettings\NoRoamingNetwork

Use 0 for On, and 1 for Off.

For Give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update Windows, are you quite sure it doesn't works on Home edition? If yes, we can report this via Feedback hub app.

Regards.

Agree with Kapil.

And here is the link for your reference on how to use the Windows Feedback Center:

Hello.

Thank you for your reply.

Actually I applied the 3 registries, but the switches doesn't change on Windows Settings app.

That's why I posted this question.

I'm not sure if the symptom is the same as the pro version's but Home version is not working well.

Chris
