I was looking for a simplier shortcut: something like ctr+a (for example). If not, is it possible to create your own shortcuts? Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the update Bhupinder.

Adding custom keyboard shortcuts in Outlook is not possible. You can however add the "Attach File" command to the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar), so that you can use the ALT+# keyboard shortcut which is much simpler.

For instance, if it is the 6th command in the QAT, use ALT+6:

Hope this helps.

Hi Bhupinder,

You mean the shortcut key for the "Attach File" button on the Ribbon of the desktop version of Outlook 2016?

The shortcut key for attaching a file from the New Message screen with the Ribbon is ALT, h, a, f.

To start, you must press the "ALT" key once (you can release the key directly, you don’t need to continue to hold it). Then type the characters one after the other to select the option that you want.

Hope this helps.

Dear Ethan,

Sorry for pending for such a long time. I tried to reply using my mobile phone but this site isn't compatible for using with mobile phones, what a pity.
