Please try to "Repair" his/her Office.
Control Panel -- [Programs] > [Programs and Features] -- Right-click on Microsoft Office 2016 and select [Repair]

Hi,

Please try the suggestion of Ashidacchi and see if the issue can be resolved by repairing Office. If it works, please remember to mark his post as answer so that others who might have a similar problem can benefit from your thread.

If the issue still persists, in case the problem is caused by any third party add-ins, please try running Excel in safe mode (Press Win + R, type "excel /safe", press Enter.) and check the result.

Any update, feel free to post back.

Regards,

Yuki Sun
