Outlook notifications greyed out, please help

Question

Sunday, July 3, 2016 1:13 PM

Like the title says, my notifications are greyed out, and when I click on them, nothing happens (normally it would take you to the email). I don't get the actionable notification in the bottom left anymore. I checked both the Windows 10 notifications and the Outlook settings and all appear to be correct.

Hi,

I have tested on my computer with same versions as yours, there's no such issue.

Consider that this issue can be caused by corrupted user profile or user permission.

Would you please first create new user account with admin permission and check if there is similar issue?

If not, let's repair this corrupted one:

Hi,

It's weird. Considering this could be related to file association or corrupted office components.

Please try to Repair Office with installation media under Control Panel.

If this issue still persists, reset the File association to default to check the results:

Also, I recommend you test this issue in new created user account to see if it's caused by corrupted user profile.

I still have the same problem mentioned above. I even did a clean reinstall of windows 10 and microsoft office but it didn't help. Do you have any other suggestions?

Just to clarify with you about your Windows Edition and Office version, edition.

Please also make sure to activate your Windows and Office successfully.
