Hi,

Since the .net version should be 2.0.50727 rather than 2.0.5, so it is possible that the incorrect .net version is causing this issue. I suggest you check whether you still have the pre-release version of 2.0 .net framework.

%windir%\Microsoft.Net\Framework
%windir%\Microsoft.Net\Framework64

If you have multiple v2.0.* folders. Keep the folder "v2.0.50727" remained and delete others, than restart the application pool to see if this fix the issue.

Thanks.

Hi,

Start here http://forums.iis.net/t/1144449.aspx Mikes Trouble Shooting Guide

read the first part do those steps for FRT and getting detailed errors.

Then use the 503 error and recovery the Server section and recover the IIS Server.

The get Aaron Stebners Dot net Verify tool http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

test and repair the dot net framework.

Then after the Dot net Frame work is functional use the "aspnet_regiis.exe" tool to register the script maps and dlls for each of versions

of Framework installed.

You can (Google or Bing) for MSDN "ASpnet_regiis.exe Tool tofind guides for use.

If  after you get the IIS Server recovered post the IIS Server log errors.

FRT log information in the forum or errors displayed in the browser.

Hi,

I am not dismissing Lloyds suggestion but you should know:

Before deleting files folders for Dot Net Framework read Aaron Stebners guide Net Framework Cleanup guide

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/08/28/8904493.aspx. Do not use the tool before reading the cavaets.

Please read all the suggestions by Aaron Stebner there are registery entries

msi installer references for the  Dot Net Framework  and for Version 2.0  Install Shield MSI Setup

references to consider.
