Transfers office 2019 license to another computer

Hi, I installed my new office 2019 to my new laptop. However, my new laptop is defective and I want to return it to the store. How can I transfer office 2019 to a new computer I'm going to get?

Hi office2019.

There is not a simple process to transfer a Microsoft Office license from one computer to another: you have to completely uninstall Office from the old computer (either using the Windows Control Panel or the Office Removal Tool, as you can read here), then you will install it on the new computer and activate it; you have to use the same Microsoft account you've used for the previous installation.

Hi Office2019,

Please refer to the reply of Luigi to remove Office from the old computer. Then you may follow the instructions in this article to install Office 2019 in your new machine.
