Hi,
If you want to turn AutoSave off, by default, for all files, go to File > Options > Save and uncheck the box next to "AutoSave OneDrive and SharePoint Online files by default on Word".
Restart Word (or whichever application you're in) and the change will take effect.
If you want AutoSave off by default for all your Office applications, such as PowerPoint and Excel too, you'll need to repeat these steps for each of those programs.

Hi,
From your picture, you are using the Word Online(Office Online). The method in my first reply is for Office desktop Client.
The feature AutoSave only applies to Office desktop client not to Office Online. For Office Online, there is no “AutoSave” feature and it is set by default to automatically save what you write and edit on Office Online.
As a result, it is not feasible to turn Autosave off in Office Online.
Best regards,
Allen Bai
