If I enable LongPathsEnabled in Windows 10, and files are stored in Windows 2012 server,
is Office 2013 or 2016 still limited to (MAX_PATH) 256 characters when saving files?

Hi,
Based on my knowledge, the MAX_PATH setting is configured in Windows level. It is highly recommended to ask a question in Windows forum to do further confirmation about this setting applying. (such as Windows 10 Community)
The maximum length for a path (file name and its directory route) — also known as MAX_PATH — has been defined by 260 characters. But starting in Windows 10, version 1607, MAX_PATH limitations have been removed from common Win32 file and directory functions. However, Windows 2012 server is unaffected, and the limit is still there. See more:Maximum Path Length Limitation
About the path or file name limitation in Office 2013 or Office 2016, the following article mentions the associated path and file name limitation when Office file is saved: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/325573/you-receive-error-messages-when-you-try-to-open-an-office-document . The article below contains information about the restrictions and limitations that apply when you use OneDrive for Business (onedrive.exe) or OneDrive for Business for Mac OS X to sync SharePoint Online OneDrive for Business libraries to your computer. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3125202/restrictions-and-limitations-when-you-sync-files-and-folders
