Cannot save .rdp files

Question

Hi, I'm having this issue on one of my machines. The others are also Windows 10 and work fine:

When I try to Save the settings for a remote desktop connection I get "An error occurred while saving to file"

When I try to click on the Save As button I get "Unable to open connection file" with the file address being where I tried to save it with the file name at the end.

I can't figure it out. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The default file is help in the Documents folder and is hidden, it is called Default.rdp. If you need to enable Hidden files then select the View menu and check hidden items. Is Default (you may not see the extension) shown? If you right click and choose properties is it a 'Remote Desktop Connection' file? if so delete it, open Remote Desktop Connection and try again (it will create Default.rdp is there is not one)
