Hi Bert Smith,
It is a boot menu execution file. When we run it(command line), it will give use the UI to get into WinRE.
Best regards

Sounds like the modern boot menu first introduced with W8.

Compare it with the legacy boot menu which you can still get using bcdedit displaybootmenu option.
That was Google's best stab at finding what I meant. BING was useless for this.

Well a search for me tells me this is boot options menu that is part of the recovery environment.
Three Ways to Access the Windows 8 or 10 Boot Options Menu by How To Geek. So that menu.
Any reason you ask?

Thank you. I am asking because I could find little info on bootim.exe and boot immersive menu. Like what they do and now they are used. Cheers

How is that question even remotely interesting? You'd have more fun looking at GRUB or anything actually hackable.

E comunque siccome avevo ricercato la stessa cosa successivamente all riforma degli spazi concessi ad abusivi spammer su internet .eu e .it (con i jumper .uk) mi ricordo questi risultati datati 2013-2015
