Hi,
Increasing the size of the text in the Reading Pane only works on the email you are currently looking at. When you click on another email, the body text will return to the default font size. There is no build-in option in Outlook can be used to make a permanent change to the font of Reading Pane. A workaround is that you can change the scaling or DPI settings in Windows. You can see this article for more details.

Hi Annie,
I've the following updated info for you:
If you want to persist your zoom setting in Outlook Reading Pane, this is now possible if you have Outlook, version 1901 or higher, as part of an Office 365 subscription.
To set a zoom percentage, click on % at the bottom right corner of the Zoom control. After clicking %, pick a zoom percentage, and then check the box marked Remember my preference.
See The text of my email messages is larger or smaller than usual for more details.
Regards,
Steve Fan
