Hi everybody

I was asked by a customer if we can change the default path of the "Look in" field when a user want's to insert a hyperlink into Word/Excel/Outook. The user would like to have the default path point to his group folder on the file server. So far I couldn't find anything to acomplish this (neither Registry nor GPO).

Does anybody have a solution for this?

Thanks for the help.

Fabian

Hi,

As far as I can tell, we don't have a method to change the default path when we add hyperlinks.

As a workaround, we can add the expected location to the Favorites section of the Explorer browser dialog so that location can be reached with only 1 additional click.
