Hi Dears
i need your support to modify more than 2000 shares , Remove everyone full access and grant authenticated users full access ,
i got it for Server 2012 , i need it for 2008& 2008R2

If you want to use modify more than 2000 shares, we suggest you use script to achieve it.

Hi ,
Based on my research, the SMBShare module that provides the SMBShare cmdlets is only available in Windows 8 & 2012/R2.
In server 2008 & 2008 R2, you could use Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) to work with file shares.
In Windows, permissions are managed using SDs. They hold access control information that's associated with a share and other objects. When a user tries to access the object, Windows uses the object's SD to determine whether to allow access.
In PowerShell, you can manipulate ACLs using the Get-Acl and Set-Acl cmdlets.
