When i try to start SharePoint Foundation Search service i am getting the following error
Could not access the Search administration database. A generic error occurred while trying to access the database to obtain the schema version

Check these setting in your SQL Server

shared memory is enabled on my sql server. also i use your link but i cannot connect on my database

In my case, the search database services were not running due to password expiry. It started working after fixing the SQL Server services.
