Question

So I upgraded to Windows 10 on my HP Envy a few months back and before that my laptop had no problems. However, now it no longer will connect to my home router. It connects fine to every other wifi router that I've tried to connect to and my roommates' computers can connect to my home network as well as other devices such as my phone and XBOX. I feel like I have tried everything to fix this problem: restarting my computer, resetting the router, doing a hard reset on my computer, making sure all my drivers are up-to-date, anything you can think of. The really weird thing is that some days it will connect to the wifi for a couple of hours but then just as suddenly as it started working again it will stop working and I will be forced to use an Ethernet cable in order to access the internet. If anyone could offer any advice or has seen something like this before I would really appreciate the help.

Hi,
Firstly, please delete this home wireless network profile:
1. Open the Command Prompt with administrator.
2. Type the following commands:
netsh wlan show profiles, press Enter.
netsh wlan delete profile name="WirelessProfileName", press Enter.
3. Afterwards, close the prompt window. Reboot the computer to check the result.
In addition, please seek the proper network adapter driver that applied to Windows 10 from its manufacturer official website to see if any difference.

A few things could be done:
1. Power off router for a minute or so and then power on.
2. Open Device Manager > locate the wifi network driver > uninstall it > reboot > Let windows detect the driver > Get connected with the internet (via cable or modem etc) and update the driver via Windows Update.
3.Try to follow the steps below to reset IP, DNS and winsock for test. Open Command Prompt as Admin and type the following commands:
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset

I have a company's dell precision laptop(Windows 7), it works fine in the office. But it just not working at home. I tried the method
netsh wlan show profiles, press Enter.
netsh wlan delete profile name="WirelessProfileName", press Enter.
It is not working for me. The command netsh winsock reset, becasuse I don't have the administration permission so I can't test it.
The wild thing is that when I connect the wifi, the laptop connects wifi then disconnect it immediately. It shows No Internet, secured, it indicated it is disconnected. However it also shows Disconnect button. They are contradicted, it is supposed to show Connect button.
Another wild thing is that each time if I click Connect button, there is a VPN app pops up. Cisco AnyConnect | Enterprise VPN is running, it doesn't happen in the office.
I have tried different "homes", same thing.
