Question

Hi All,
I created both a bootable Windows 10 PE USB and a DVD with
https://www.nextofwindows.com/how-to-build-a-windows-10-based-winpe-usb-bootable-drive
Which is using the Windows ADK. Other than taking FOREVER to download, all went according to plan.
Problem: neither will boot past the blue Windows logo.
What is going on?
Many thanks,
-T

After much trial and error, I finally has a natively bootable W-10 PE Gandalf drive. It still will not go past the blue window splash screen (before the Annoy Balls start) when booted from qemu-kvm. But, at least I know it works natively.

Hi Todd,
Here I suggest you follow the official tutorial to create the Windows 10 PE Bootable drive:
WinPE: Create USB Bootable drive
Afterwards, connect the USB device to the PC you want to work on. Turn on the PC, and press the key that opens the firmware boot menus. Select the USB drive. Windows PE starts automatically.
