Open browser pages inside Visual Studio

Question

Tuesday, November 24, 2015 2:57 PM

With a lot more web pages being used for things in VS and TFS, is there any way to have Visual Studio default to opening a browser tab in Visual Studio instead of launching the browser?  This is particularly annoying with the new build definitions. Although the new build is great, it would be more efficient if when I go to edit the definition, it opens in VS instead of going to my browser.

Thanks,

Anthony

Hi Anthony Hunter,

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

We could go to View -> Other Windows -> Web Browser, to open the browser pages inside the visual studio.

But it you want to open the definitions in browsesr page in visual studio, I'm afraid that we don't have this feature now.

But you could copy the link into the Web Browser tab, under  View -> Other Windows -> Web Browser.

If it is not you wanted, I suggest you could submit this feature on the visual studio user voice: https://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio

Maybe we will see this feature in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
