Question

Hi All,
My company have just migrated to O365 SharePoint and the links to pages and documents in the Menu Properties now include "_layouts/15/guestaccess.aspx?guestaccesstoken=.........."
e.g. https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/Intranet/_layouts/15/guestaccess.aspx?guestaccesstoken=AaykNYXmDyj2vDRnmpyoipn6bwid5GgIvcyDR1PO4rI%3d&docid=2_06b259c5254904d789da082a768a8cd7c&rev=1
Is there a way of deactivating this so that we get the actual document path
e.g. https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/Intranet/Documents/DocumentName.pdf?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Theeoampo,
Since we enable external sharing with users outside the organization, then get guest a link with guestaccess.aspx so that external users will open this page with the link.
If we don’t want to get this link, we can go to Office 365 Admin Central, search “Sites external sharing”, then close this setting.
Then go to the documents, check if the link still with guestaccess.aspx, if so, select the document and click get a link, then click REMOVE.
Best regards,
Grace Wang

This doesn't necessarily work. Guessaccess links are generated by outlook when attaching a sharepoint document from the quick attach drop down even when external access is turned off. How do I find and disable guestaccesstoken links?

Grace, I have this issue, but in a site quick launch created from a site template where the links in the quick launch work fine. Once the site is created, the links no longer work, (links to folders within a document library). This is a relatively new issue with a site template that has been used successfully previously. Can you please advise on how to correct this problem so the site template quick launch links work when a new site is created using the template? Thanks! Dorie
