Microsoft Edge - Set printing headers&footer by default

Hello everyone,

Is possible to set Edge browser to have the printing setting: Headers and Footer always on ON?
Via GPO, RegKey, Script,...

Thanks in advice.

Hi,

The only way I have found to customise print settings is to "Open with Internet Explorer" (on the more options menu) and then use Internet Explorer for printing.

I tried looking for the registry setting using procmon but came up short. Then again I was somewhat pressed for time. You may have better luck and if you find the registry key, I would love to know how you did it. :)

Hello Carl,

Thanks for the advice.
This operation is longer as set manually the "Headers and Footers" :(
I analyzed the registry and there's nothing we can set to change the behaviour of edge :S

Yes. I’m afraid that Headers and Footer setting can’t be controlled by registry.

I try to capture related registry about it. Only find one could be changed.

After create or delete it, it has not been affected. So we may need to turn it on/off manually or use IE.

Yes, it's hard to understand how these new apps are released with printing capabilities so inferior to the apps they are replacing.  Try using the Photo app to print pictures!!
