Skype For Business Address book does not sync the latest or updated Primary Email Address

Hybrid Environment. Skype for Business is hosted online.

When a Primary Email address of a Mailbox is modified in Hybrid, it gets replicated to Cloud mailbox, OAB of Outlook. 

But When we search the user in the Skype, the contact card still shows the Old Primary Email address. 

Its been more than 20 days still no change in Skype's address book.

Is there any update addressbook auto scheduled service over skype?? Can we trigger manually ?

Does this affect both users hosted on-premise and SFB Online?

On-premise has this command to update addressbook:

Update-CsUserDataBase 

Update-CsAddressBook 

To debug:

Debug-CsAddressBookReplication 

As far as I know, it is not possible to run this in SFB Online, same as Exchange online

SFB Online cmdlets is pretty limited:

When you edit emailaddress, you do it using on-premises ECP ?

Hi there, 

Yes, those update addressbook are there in Onprem.. 

but the Skype is fully in Online, so i didnt find any commands. 

Editing email address, 

I have done through hybrid ECP, which gets replicated to Cloud via AAD sync.

Hi Arunramanathan,

Did the issue happen to all users or specific user?

For SFB client side, please try to rebuild user profile:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected](Lync 2013/SFB 2015)
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync\[email protected](SFB 2016)

You can also run this command in CMD, it will force your SFB client address book update
reg add HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync /v GalDownloadInitialDelay /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
