I have a user that complains that one of the networks shared folders closes automatically. Our network is setup that when you log on, a shared folder that has application shortcuts open automatically. Staff like to have it remain open because that is where we launch most of our applications. I cleared the users profile but she says it still happens. Please help.

Hello,
Suggest you to run System File Checker scan:
Search for 'command prompt' using Cortana or Windows Search.
From results, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
Type sfc /scannow command and press Enter key.
Let the command complete and then reboot the machine.
Let us know, if issue still persists!

Running the system file checker won't hurt, but I doubt that it will fix your problem.
How exactly does this window open? What process controls it? The Windows explorer? Perhaps if you shared the method/command that opens this "shared folder", we would have a better idea of the implementation. A screen snapshot of a desktop with this window would also be helpful.

I ran the System File Checker scan: on the workstation and so far so good. I'll keep you updated if the issue returns.
