Hello,
For one of my customers i'am starting with the Windows 10 Kiosk mode. The only app they can use is the "Microsoft Remote Desktop" app. This seems to work fine, but there are some issues with the keyboard input.
The most keys are working fine except a few like the questionmark/forward slash, the plus and minus. The problem doesn't seems to be keyboard language related because the old RDP application is working fine (mstsc.exe).
Language: Dutch
Keyboard Layout: United States
Client: Windows 10 Pro
Server: Windows Server 2008 R2
I also tried to connect to another Windows Server 2012/2016 and with another client device.
I'am looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards, Michel

Hi,
The problem is fixed using another keyboard layout, i used Yoruba. This Keyboard Layout is the same as the US keyboard Layout.
Apperently the US Layout doesnt work well with this app.

I have the same problem. How stupid is this. When I switch the host to Language ENG (=UK) with US Intl keyboard and the remote also to keyboard UK it is ok in the remote. But I have to switch everytime. Why is Microsoft not fixing this problem. I have no problem with "old" RDP or any other programm. Only with this RDP from Microsoft App store. Please Microsoft FIX IT !!

It works for me too. When I change the host keyboard to ENG with UK keyboard layout and I have the remote on NLD with US intl layout. Really strange.

This worked for me also. Seems to be problem with Dutch language/US key board. When I switch host temporarily to ENG UK keyboard and than start remote desktop, my US int keybaord works fine in remote PC. I do need to switch my host keyboard back to US Int, otherwise I will see een double quote when i press shift-2 (instead of @). Thanks !
