Hi All,
I am looking for some assistance on determining what KB's and Service packs change the version of Outlook Professional Plus.
The current approved version for use in my organisation is 16.0.4266.1001 and I have identified multiple different versions that i either need to upgrade or roll back. Below are the versions i currently have
Need to Roll Back
16.0.4600
16.0.4654
16.0.4705
16.0.4732
16.0.9330
Upgrade
16.0.10325
16.0.10730
16.0.10827
16.0.11001
I've been looking online for information but have had no luck. Does anyone have any info as to what KB's or Service packs i need to uninstall/install to get all versions back to 16.0.4266.1001
Thanks in advance
DQ

Hi Dave M Quirk,
Could we know why do you want to revert to a previous version of Office?
Normally, we don’t recommend uninstalling KB's or Service packs as they are security-related. Always keeping Office up to date could help improve the performance of Office and fix some security issues.
Do you encounter problems with Outlook client? You could feel free to tell us.
Regards,
Perry

We have had some rouge techs manually installing KBS in the hope it will fix certain things which they shouldn't be as we manage this by WSUS once our own testing of KB installs have been completed.
We are looking to have a consistent version of outlook through out the organisation.
Thanks for your reply

Hi Dave M Quirk,
According to my research, version (16.0.4266.1001) is a basic version without any updates installed. Theoretically, you have to uninstall all KB updates.
Another way I found is that you can directly uninstall these Office clients and reinstall the basic version to those PCs.

Perry
