Create TS media - The system cannot find the file specified

I get the following error below when trying to Create Task Sequence Media to make a bootable USB drive to capture a reference image. My x64 boot image is deployed to the distribution point successfully, and has been imported successfully, and yet somehow the task sequence cannot find it. I simply don't understand.

Media creation failed with error message: 'The system cannot find the file specified. Refer to CreateTsMedia.log file to find more details.

I cannot find the log file the system is mentioning. I have looked in the configuration manager installation path in the logs folder, it is not there. Our SCCM server is virtualized within VMware Vsphere ESX and is not on the same subnet as our DHCP server, yet the server share that I imported the boot image from is mapped correctly and SCCM can access it with no problems.

This has been resolved. I had to download the new version of Windows ADK and use the boot WIMs from that.

To include more details for anyone:

We're currently running System Center 2012 R2 Service Pack 1.

CreateTsMedia.log is in <ConfigMgrInstallationPath>\AdminUILog\AdminUILog on the system you are running the console on.

Your DHCP server is completely irrelevant as are your subnets or the location or share of the boot image source WIM.

During media creation, content is pulled from the DP that you specify.

Finally, not 100% positive, but there have been four CUs released for 2012 R2 SP1 and one may contain a fix for this as well if it happens to be a bug.
