Hi,

Thanks for your post in our forum.

As this is Remote Desktop Client forum, does the issue happen during the RDP session? Or does the issue happen on the local computer?

Try to use another keyboard, and try to reinstall the keyboard driver to see if it helps.

Hope the above information can help you.

Thanks again for your understanding and support.

Best Regards,

Otto

I too got this problem in the latest update and I've tried to reinstall the app, restarted Azure, the mobile, tried with another keyboard. Nothing helps. Need an urgent fix or way to downgrade to previous version.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

As your description, when you use Microsoft Remote Desktop on the Android to connect to Windows client, the keyboard will not work normally after a while.

Have you Tried remote access to the windows client from another Android client or other Windows clients, can it work normally?

What update do you install on the Andriod client or Windows client?

And, run winver on the Windows client to see the detailed version of the client.

Thanks again for your understanding and support.

Best Regards,

Otto

same here and I got some additional details how to reproduce this (at least on my config):

-start a RDP session

-put RD Client to background or just switch app (pressing home button or app switch on phone)

-go back to RD, now your inputs are doubled

-switch app or go to home screen again

-go back to RD, now your inputs are tripled

and so on... this can be repeated many times.

if i restart the RD client on the phone, everything is ok. previous builds were ok, i didn't have this issue before.

my config: galaxy s7 with android 8, RD client 8.1.66.367, win 7 x64
