I get this error when I try to install a few applications. I have installed Wordpress and Drupal find. But when I try to install DasBlog or BlogEngine.net I get the error "Invalid Application Pool Name". I'm confused because I'm not specifying an Application Pool Name so how am I to fix it? Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Please check the basic settings of chosen site 'seven83'(IIS Manager->High-light site 'seven83'->Click Basic Settings.. on right Actions pane->select a valid application pool).
If your problem persists, please post the output of the following command:
c:\Windows\System32\inetsrv>appcmd list apppool

Hello,
I suggest you check your IIS Server configuration http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/624/application-pool-identities/
and the Application Pool settings.
You can change the Application Pool Net Framework version and Type and Mode
to see if the problems are resolved.
I suggest you check the BlogEngine.NET or Das Blog Web SItes for what are suggested
Application Pool settings.
The Web Platform Tool is just using what is currenty set.
