Keep getting "The target database, '%', is participating in an availability group and is currently not accessible for queries" when monitoring AlwaysON Availability groups with the SQL Server Management Pack

Question

We just implemented SCOM and when we added the SQL Server management pack on our SQL Server 2012 and 2014 with AlwaysON Availability groups we get the following error on the secondary replicas:

Login failed for <Our Domain>\SQLDiscovery. Full error message follows:

The target database, 'DATABASE', is participating in an availability group and is currently not accessible for queries. Either data movement is suspended or the availability replica is not enabled for read access.

How can we manage this error? I would think that the management pack would understand that the secondary replicas can not be queried.

Hello,

I would like to suggest you configure read-only for those databases to work around this issue.
