Cannot paste image in same onenote page

I can Copy/paste images from outside into onenote but cannot paste within onenote pages.

Hello

Try following steps:

1. Copy several words and paste into OneNote. Select Keep Source Formatting (K)

2. Click Paste Options icon again and then click Set as Default Paste.

3. Copy/paste an image again.

Hi,

Can you copy/paste from other Office programs, such as Word?

Does this issue happen within newly created OneNote pages?

We may also try to copy the image from OneNote page and paste it to another program, when copy the image from the other program to see whether this works.
