Question

Hello,

Receiving this message content in browser while we try to access a Sharepoint Site in O365. The site was created in Teams from scratch. I have read few TECHNET FORUMS where the same occurred for on-premise sites and suggested to do a IISRESET but since this is in cloud, would suggest on how this could be analysed.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Regards Alanda

This is the message returned when you navigate to a site that does not exist. If you are certain it does exist (try using Get-SPOSite -Limit All), contact Office 365 support via admin.microsoft.com.

Hi Trevor,

You were correct as the site was unavailable and was deleted accidentally by Site Owner. I checked the Exchange group and found that the group for the respective site under deleted category. Alternative of restoring the deleted site from Exchange group though it takes 24 hours.

Also, I found that with the new Office Admin experience released by Microsoft in there recent update, as a SharePoint O365 admin, one can also find the list of sites created via Teams and can manage it.

I would like to close this channel as the issue was due to the deleted site, the cause of the error.

Thanks Trevor for your timely support.

Hi Alanda,

As Trevor says, this is the message returned by default when there is no site collection available.

Please check if you have configured the site collection successfully.

You can also create a new site collection and see if the issue remains.

Best regards,

Chelsea Wu
