We have fresh install of Office 2013 64 bit in Win 8 Pro 64 bit.
Connected to Exchange 2010 Server at Rackspace. Mail works fine.
We cannot export to a PST. The option is GREYED out! As above, in both places. Rackspace says it is an Outlook 2013 issue. Other computes on the server can export, including Outlook 365.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Rafi

Hi,
Please run safe mode to eliminate add-ins conflicts:
- Press WIN+R;
- Type “winword.exe /safe” to open word with mode;
- Through this safe mode to open their instance of Word;
- Check the result.
If the issue gone, please disable add-ins one by one to find the root.
If the issue still persists, please try to create a new profile as the following link for test:

Thanks Karen;
I will try later. The customer has the laptop back. Interesting that you want to open Word in safe mode. Will check and advise.

This problem really take from me exactly 3 Hours i found out an old article since Windows XP
you have to change to non-Unicode , most languages are using Unicode program
1-Go to Control Panel > Region and Language
2- In the bar press > Administrative
3- Change system locale
now change it according to your location if not > choose any other Unicode location
