For this error code in the bottom line,  0x80070643 usually shows that your package was corrupted.

Here are my suggestions:

1. Go to Control Panel to install through Windows Update, make sure you install the latest recommended updates and patches from Microsoft Update before you install the VS 2012 Update 5.

2. Disable AV software, firewall on temporarily and clean Temp folder.

3. Please try to re-download the VS 2012 Update 5 ISO from:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-sg/download/details.aspx?id=48708

4. Use the FCIV.exe tool to check the SHA1 value of the ISO, compare with official hash value: B28241CA909E909A9BB43FBEC3358C0D1BC26B5F,

If they are the same, it means that you download a good one, on the contrary,　the ISO is not downloaded fully.

Ensure you download a good ISO and use it to apply to your VS 2012.
