Question

Hi,
I just updated my laptop with Windows 10 with the Creators Update, at first I didn't had problems until this error popped out in my event viewer last night and it kept popping out every time I boot my laptop, I get from 5 to 7 errors.
usbperf Even ID 2001
"Unable to read the "First Counter" value under the usbperf\Performance Key. Status codes returned in data."
I already tried lodctr /r in both System32 and SysWOW64 and ran ** WINMGMT.EXE /RESYNCPERF**, I still get the errors.
Does anyone some alternative working fix to this?
Thank you for listening.

Hi,
Have you tried to reinstall USB root hub driver to check this issue?
This event is a warning one. Generally, we can ignore such events since it could be some temporarily issue.
Would you please let me know when did this event happen?
We can also try commands as admin to scan system files:
SFC /SCANNOW
See if this issue can be fixed.
Then, please post saved entx files including the event log you mentioned and let's do more research.
