Question

Google search results indicate (all articles returned were written prior to October 2017) indicate that this isn't possible to use ReFS for a system disk. Has this changed?
Thanks,

Hi karpodiem.
According to the information published here, a disk formatted using the ReFS file system cannot be used on a boot volume, which must still be formatted using NTFS.

Hi Karpo diem
See this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4034825/features-that-are-removed-or-deprecated-in-windows-10-fall-creators-up
It is supported for Windows 10 for Workstations
Resilient File System (ReFS)
Creation ability will be available in the following editions only: Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Pro for Workstations.
Creation ability will be removed from all other editions. All other editions will have Read and Write ability.
Regards
Simon

This does not answer my question. I asked if the boot drive of the workstation can be formatted as ReFS in Enterprise or Workstation, not if the feature is available in a particular Windows 10 license edition.

Hi Karpodiem,
Sorry for the mistake. I just read a few articles written in 2018 and they don't mention formatting ReFS on the system drive, so personally I don't think it's possible. But of course it's not the official answer.
