I've noticed that on several computers, running Windows 2016, 2012R2, 10, and 8.1, there are periodic errors every time the Time Zone Sync runs, so about twice a week. This suggests the timezone database itself has some data Windows doesn't recognize. I don't think this affects anyone outside of the two timezones, other than getting eventlog messages.

Event ID 10 is basically because Microsoft-Windows-TZSync can’t sync the time zone data.
General method is check the box “synchronize with an internet time server” and select the option “time.windows.com” from the drop down.
