Question
Tuesday, July 31, 2018 11:55 PM
Hi All,
I have a sharepoint site and a form on it. One user is having trouble (verified that other users with same permission level set have no problem) accessing the site/form even though he has proper permissions set. He keeps getting either blank page or the following error. I even set explicit permission for the user so there is read permission. But it is not working. Can someone please help resolve this and tell me how to debug this?
Thanks.

Hi sukris,
I need to collect the following information to further troubleshoot the issue:
What is the form are you referring to? please offer a screenshot.
Does the user can access other pages in the site?
If you grant user with contribute permission, does the user can access to the form?
Best Regards,
Lisa Chen

Hi Lisa,
User is not able to access any page/resource on the sharepoint site. He is getting either blank page (for form) or the above mentioned error (for other pages). Another user with the same permission level can access the site successfully.
Screenshot of the form and permission for the user:
<NOTE: Not able to upload the screenshots and keep getting error saying can not insert images until the account is verified>

Hi sukris,
Try to remove the user from site collection and regrant permission for the user.
Navigate to "http://yoursite/_layouts/15/people.aspx?MembershipGroupId=0", you can delete the user from here. Then regrant user permission on the site and compare the results.
Make sure user has permission on the Master Page Gallery.
You can upload the pictures in OneDrive and share the link with us.
If the issue still exists, Check the ULS log to determine the exact cause of the error. ULS log is at:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS

Lisa Chen
