I have enable Win32 long path setting to overcome the 260 character restriction in Win 10 but it doesn't seem to work. I have enabled Win32 long path under group policy editor--> Filesystem and also the reg key D word setting but continue to receive error " The file name would be too ling for the destination folder....." Does anyone have a work around for this?

Yes, seems this does only work partially, someone made tests on its current limitations:
Windows Max Path Is Now A Lot Bigger
So seems this only works in Powershell, or with special tools, but still not in explorer.

Yes, it will allow manifested win32 applications and Windows Store applications to access paths beyond the normal 260 character limit, but it doesn’t support Windows Explorer.
There is a case talking about this istuation.
