Running Windows 7 Excel 2010. Every time I select page setup I get Microsoft Excel has stopped working error. This happens in safe mode as well, even with a blank spreadsheet. The problem does not show up when running XP Microsoft excel 2010. My current work around is to select AdobePDF for the printer.
Added information, crashes on all xerox printers but not on HP laser Jet 5P/5MP Post script printer

A work around for is to first close out of excel entirely, then:
1. Click on Start Button.
2. Select Devices and printers.
3. Right click on a printer which isn't the default printer, select "Set as Default" printer.
4. Re-open troublesome document and attempt to choose "Page Setup" again.

Hi,
Based on my research, most excel crashes are caused by printer drivers. When you change to page layout, excel has to check with windows to see how things should be displayed. And windows have to check with the printer driver to determine that.
Try to reinstall the printers then to check the issue.

We have multiple users that's having the same exact issue. Usually uninstalling and reinstalling the xerox driver fixes the issue but not recently. And as mentioned before, it's only with xerox, hp printer won't cause it to crash
