Virtual Network Adapter will not install

I have installed the latest version of SoftEther VPN client software on my laptop running Windows10. I cannot get the Virtual Network Adapter to install so I can use this software to connect. 

I geta  popup that says Creating Virtual Network Adapter and then it just spins until it errors out with the message "Installation of the Virtual Network Adapter device driver failed.
