I get no sound through headphones when I use MS Edge. I have other browsers installed on my desktop PC with no problem.
MS Edge send the sound to my desktop speakers only, but stop sending the sound through headphones since last Windows 10 updates build 16294.1

Clear the cache and cookies from the browser app and check if it helps. To do so, follow these steps:
- Click on the More actions [...] at the top right corner in MS edge browser.
- Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
- Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
You may also try resetting Edge.
