This site can’t be reached...took too long to respond

When i try to access my site externally, i am getting this message:

'This site can’t be reached...took too long to respond'

My site is hosted under IIS 10 and Windows 10.

I allowed access 'WWW services (HTTP)' in Windows Firewall, that didn't help, then i turned the Firewall off, but still getting the same error.

What could be the problem here?

Hi Kabira,

Could you see that failed request in C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\HTTPERR? Did you access the website from domain name? If so, please ensure you have registered your domain name in either local hosts file or DNS server. Besides, could you access your website from https? It is important to check whether the request has reached your IIS server.
